Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN in July 2021, as the network's Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers everything, from NASA as well as the Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of space tourism. Kristin, the daughter of NASA astronauts, and also a space enthusiast, grew up immersed in the industry. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Boston University. Kristin is married to her daughter, and her three-year-old in Washington, D.C.
